HDV Antibody-HP6A1
(Catalog # AM002)
Specificity: Mouse monoclonal antibody against the amino acid residues 4-10 (SESKRNR) of HDAg (isolate 25).
Antigen used for immunizations: The hepatitis virus delta antigen-coding fragment (isolate TW2576) was inserted into pPinPoint plasmid and the expressed recombinant was used for mouse immunization. After cell fusion, the hybridomas obtained were screened for antibody reacting with the delta antigen fused in different format (MBP-25L) and tested negative for other fusion proteins.
Concentration:
HDV Antibody-HP6A1 is supplied at the concentration of 1 µg/µl (Cat # AM002: 100µg/tube, 100µl/tube).
Storage Buffer: The ammonium sulfate-precipitated ascites fluid is kept in PBS with 1% BSA and then lyophilized.
Reconstitution recommendations:
Reconstitute in ddWater to a concentration of 1.0 mg/ml. Stock solutions should be apportioned into working aliquots and stored at <-20ºC. If more dilute solution required, it is suggested that they be made in a buffered solution containing carrier protein such as PBS with 0.1% BSA.
Recommendations on use:
Immunofluorescence:
Typical working dilution on frozen sections 1:200. 60 minutes primary antibody incubates at 25ºC (as shown in Fig. 1)(will soon be available). Low to extremely low background stainings were seen in various cells.
Western blotting:
Recommended:
working dilution on Western blotting 1:500. 60 minutes primary antibody incubates at 25ºC (as shown in Fig. 2)(will soon be available).
Storage and stability: Store unopened antibody at 4ºC or lower. Under these conditions, there is no significant loss in product performance one year from the purchase date. The reconstituted antibody is stable for at least two months when stored at 4ºC. For long term storage, it is recommended that aliquots of the antibody are frozen at -20ºC (frost-free freezers are not recommended). Repeated freezing and thawing must be avoided. Prepare working dilutions on the day of use.
Legal consideration: FOR RESEARCH USE ONLY.
