Description:

Human UBC9 (access no: P50550), also called UBE2I; UBCE9; Ubiquitin-like protein SUMO-1 conjugating enzyme, is produced from an E. coli expression system, prepared from freshly extracted cell lysates, and purified to homogeneity using methods developed by Corgen Inc. The predicted molecular weight of hUBC9 is 18 KDa. The The final fraction of enzyme contains single polypeptide band of approximately 23 kDa on SDS PAGE.

Storage Buffer:

The final fraction of the UBC9 is an affinity column pool and is in the following buffer: 10 mM Tris-Cl, pH 7.5, 100 mM NaCl, 100 mM imidazole, 0.5 mM PMSF, 1 mM DTT, and 10 % glycerol. The enzyme is stable in this buffer at -20~70ºC. In general, the enzyme is less stable when diluted. We don’t recommend any dilution of the enzyme.

Concentration:

Human UBC9 is supplied at the concentration of 1 µg/µl (Cat # P011: 30 µg/tube, 30 µl/tube). 

Shipping/Storage:

The enzyme is shipped on blue ice and must be stored at -20ºC or lower.
