For antibody production projects, the service includes MAP preparation to make a pure recombinant immunogen. Your peptide sequence should be 12-18aa, with no internal cysteine residues. We may be able to provide assistance with designing optimal peptides for immunogenicity at free of charge. We can also use recombinant proteins or conjugated peptides submitted by customers (please see the details at the animal service page). Polyclonal Antibody Production Services

• MAP Immunogen preparation & polyclonal antibody production:  Total 15 weeks

Peptide design and MAP immunogen synthesis 3 weeks (USD 600)	Custom MAP peptide synthesis of 15 amino acids. Peptide with more than 15 amino acids will be charged for USD15 per additional residue. We can provide assistance one designing peptide with respect to protein homology, immunogenicity, hydrophilicity, and synthetic suitability.
Immunization and anti-sera production & Test 12 weeks (USD 700)	MAP immunogen is used to immunize rabbits or mice. Pre-immune and three immune bleeds. 80-100 ml rabbit antiserum or 10 ml mouse antiserum produced. Western blot analysis guarantees to reach target titer.
Total 15 weeks (USD 1,300)	Lyophilized antiserum is supplied.

Monoclonal Antibody Production Services

• Hybridoma fusion and screening service (using your immunogen): 16 weeks (USD 5,100)

Immunization and anti-sera production 8 weeks (USD 1,600)	Immunogen requirement: 2 mgs of conjugated peptide (for immunization) and 2 mg of free peptide (for screening). or 3 mgs of purified recombinant protein will be needed. Immunization of 3 mice with standard protocol. Sera from mice will be tested by ELISA using immunogens. Once an acceptable titer is obtained, hybridoma fusion will be done using splenocytes from mouse with the best titer.
Hybridoma Fusion and screening of specific clones 8 weeks (USD 3,500)	Supernatants from the growing hybridoma wells will be screened by ELISA and western blot using the free Peptide or the purified protein. If the molecular weight and cell type distribution of target protein is known, we will test the ELISA positive hybridoma clones on cell lysate blots.
Total 16 weeks (USD 5,100)	Three clones will be selected and sent to customer's lab.
